• Obama’s Birth Certificate – Has President Obama’s birth certificate been forged?

Obama’s birth certificate has finally been released!  After downloading the scanned copy of President Obama’s long form birth certificate that was made publicly available at WhiteHouse.gov, I noticed the background and some miscellaneous text on the document loaded separately than the background image it is printed on when opening thePDF in Adobe Acrobat.

• Obama’s Birth Certificate and the “Birthers”

Obama’s birth certificate has been a trending topic in the political community, but I’m simply a graphic artist who is pointing out oddities in the WhiteHouse.gov-released long form birth certificate of President Barack Obama.  I’m no birther.

• Obama’s Birth Certificate Opened in Adobe Illustrator

Upon opening Obama’s birth certificate in Adobe Illustrator, layers were clearly visible.  One layer contained ONLY the background image, a separate scan of the safety paper which is commonly used to print birth certificates and checks.  Other layers contained different pieces of text, either handwritten or from a typewriter.  Proof that President Obama’s birth certificate has been altered is in the video!
